Ooredoo purchases a wide range of materials and services, and provides services bothinternally and externally.The Procurement & Supply Chain team coordinatesall activities related to three key aspects covering purchase, logistics andmaterials management.

This role is responsible for leading the Category Management function covering the sourcing needs for Ooredoo’s B2B ICT business. The role covers end to end sourcing from market survey to supplier selection through to negotiation and completion of selection, contract and supplier relationship.If you would like to view the full role profile please click here

You should have at least 10 years of work experience in sourcing of technical and/or ICT products and services within Strategic Sourcing functions.

Prior experience in TelCo/ B2B ICT isdesirable.

You should have a demonstrable expertise in vendor selection andmanagement, vendor negotiations (commercial and contractual), and stakeholdermanagement.

You should have proven ability to drive down cost without loss ofservice standards or quality standards. You should have significant knowledgeof procurement processes of international standards, from working in maturesourcing organizations. You should have vendor management experiencespecifically for ICT market at global/regional/local levels.
